Abstract

This study examined the relationship between open innovation, managerial practices, sustainable policies, and manufacturing improvement in Malaysian enterprises. The aim was to determine the influence of open innovation and management practices on sustainable policy, hence affecting manufacturing enhancement. This study conducted a survey among employees of manufacturing enterprises in Malaysia using a rigorous approach. The findings demonstrated a notable and favourable association between open innovation, proficient management techniques, and the development of enduring policies. Sustainable policies were vital in facilitating industrial enhancement by acting as a crucial intermediary. The results of our research highlight the essential importance of strategic management and innovative methods in establishing policies that promote sustainability, ultimately leading to beneficial transformations in the manufacturing industry. Ultimately, this research provides an essential understanding of the interrelated dynamics of open innovation, managerial practices, sustainable policy, and manufacturing development in Malaysian enterprises.
